I received an email last night from someone looking for copies of the Murder Book trade collection, which has been sold out for a while and is, unfortunately, out of print. Before breaking the bad news, I figured I’d have a look through a box I recently got from an old shared storage unit. I knew it had some books in it, but not what. And you know what? There were some darn tootin’ Murder Book collections in there. Not many, mind you. But some. This, I believe, is probably the LAST TIME I’ll ever have them available, so if you’re looking for one, you might wanna stroll on over to my online shop.
I’ve also added other items, such as Batman Inc, Deathstroke Inc and a few random trade paperbacks that I had neglected to. I apologize that there are no Predator issues available. I don’t get many and what I did get are goooooooone.
If you are looking for signed copies of those, you can hit up my local comic shop, Strange Adventures, and they’ll hook you up.
Man, I really just jumped right into business, didn’t I? Well, shit, since we’re already in it…here goes…

What’s Out This Week
Batman Incorporated #2
The pulse-pounding second chapter of NO MORE TEACHERS continues as Batman Inc. investigate the deaths of Ghost-Maker and Batman's mentors. Each new lead only begs more questions & threatens to unearth a shocking secret buried deep in Ghost-Maker's past.
We're introducing plenty of fresh blood in this issue. Some new faces who are going to have a big impact in the future.
Illustrated by John Timms
Colored by Rex Lokus
Lettered by Clayton Cowles
Edited by Ben Abernathy
And, for NO REASON WHATSOEVER, I’m posting this panel from the Batman 2022 Annual that came out in May.
I’m very happy with how the book has been coming together and feel incredibly lucky to be working with John, Rex, Clayton, and Ben. Hoping that we’re in it for the long haul!
What Else Looks Good
DARK RIDE #2
I’ve really been enjoying Dark Ride by Joshua Williamson and Andrei Bressan. It’s a fun, horror-filled ride set at an evil amusement park that is perhaps FAR MORE EVIL than it’s presented to be.
The second issue just hit stands today and you should do yourself a favour and pick it up.
SPECS #1
Chris Shehan is one of my favourite newer artists out there and so I’m always down to pick up whatever he’s working on. This is my first time reading David M. Booher, but based on this first issue, it won’t be the last.
A pair of specs show up one day granting the wearer what they desire and well…I let you discover where it leads.
WildC.A.T.S #1
My enemy and yours, Matthew Rosenberg, just launched a new WildC.A.T.S series, along with artist Stephen Segovia.
The official solicitation:
“Spinning off from the pages of Batman comes a senses-shattering new series! The HALO Corporation has gathered a motley crew of operatives, led by Cole Grifter Cash, who are going to make the world a better place...no matter who they have to kill! Working in the shadows of the DC Universe, this new covert team has been tasked with gathering an elite group of scientists for the first phase of their plan...but the Cats' mysterious leader, Void, might have other plans!”
I hate how good this comic is.
Matt is currently out on tour, promoting the book, alongside Matteo Pizzolo and his book Rogue State. Check out the poster below for more details.
If you happen to go, tell Matt to get bent.
What’s Coming Up
It looks like I’ve got a couple new things in the hopper that I can’t quite talk about just yet. Well, three things, I guess? One is going to be announced VERY soon. The other two won’t be out until mid-to-late 2023, but are exciting nonetheless. One of the two is a book I’ve wanted to write since I was a kid, so I’m thrilled to be given the chance.
In the more immediate future, here’s what I’ve got coming out through the end of the year (There’s Something Wrong With Patrick Todd has had a delay due to printer issues. I’ll try to update when #4 and #5 are rescheduled.):
WildStorm 30th Anniversary Special (November 29)
There’s Something Wrong With Patrick Todd #4 (Delayed - Later this month?)
Predator #5 (December 7)
Batman Incorporated #3 (December 13)
Okay, that’s it for now. I’m out for now. I’ll be back in a few weeks to clog up your inbox once again.

4 people told me to get bent today. I don't blame you because I give you credit for nothing in this world. Nothing.
