A Quick Signing Tour Update
Those of you who follow me on social media may have already heard, but for those of you who haven’t: My daughter and I caught Covid last week and have been isolating since. Going into this road trip, we knew that this was a very real possibility. We took the appropriate precautions, but it wasn’t enough, unfortunately.
As a result, I had to cancel my signings in Portland and Vancouver. I was really looking forward to both, so canceling them really stung. I haven’t spent time in Portland in about 8 years and was dying to get back. I did pop into Rose City earlier last week, outside of store hours and when I was still testing negative, and signed a bunch of stock. So, if you’re in Portland, you can get signed books by me from the fine folks at Rose City. Likewise, if you’re in Vancouver, Big Pete’s has copies of Catch & Release: A Murder Book Story with signed bookplates.
I’ve been isolating in Vancouver and it’s painful to be in the city I love so much, unable to experience it.
Thankfully, the symptoms have been mild. My daughter has been out of the woods for a couple of days now and I’ve been pretty much back to normal since yesterday (my isolation ends tomorrow).
Because of the isolation, our travel plans have been pushed back slightly and as a result, we won’t make it to Chicago in time for C2E2.
My Kelowna and Regina signings are still a go, but they’ve been rescheduled to August 4th and 5th respectively (details on the poster below). My Oshawa and Montreal signings are still as scheduled.
I will be wearing a mask to all signings — as I have been all along — and ask that everyone who comes do the same.
Okay. That’s all I’ve got for now. Please keep an eye on my twitter account for more frequent updates, though hopefully there will be no more changes!
Thanks to everyone for your patience through all of this.
